NAD⁺ is the oxidized form of the coenzyme central to redox reactions, sirtuin activity and PARP-mediated DNA repair. It is widely used in cellular-energetics and aging research.
Published findings for this compound are predominantly preclinical. Results from cell or animal models do not establish safety, effectiveness or benefit in humans, and nothing on this page is a recommendation for any use other than laboratory research.
Enzymology studies use NAD⁺ as the required co-substrate.
Cell studies have examined NAD⁺/NADH ratio and oxidative phosphorylation.
Rodent work has explored tissue NAD⁺ decline and supplementation.
Research areas reflect topics in the published literature. They are not claims of demonstrated effects or expected outcomes.
Store lyophilized at -20°C (-4°F), protected from light. After reconstitution, keep at 2–8°C and use within 7 days.
Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water added slowly down the inside wall of the vial; swirl gently and never shake. See the reconstitution and storage guide for a step-by-step bench procedure.
NAD⁺ is supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. It is not approved by the FDA for any use, is not a dietary supplement, and is not for human or animal consumption. Purchasers must be 21 or older.
